About the Role
As Sustainability Compliance Lead, you will drive and coordinate Liquid-Or’s sustainability and compliance initiatives across the EMEA region. In this remote role, you will help ensure that the company’s operating model, supply chain practices, and product-related processes align with relevant sustainability expectations, compliance requirements, and internal standards.
You will work across functions including quality, supply chain, operations, packaging, and leadership to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability-related policies, documentation, and reporting structures. Your responsibilities will include assessing compliance requirements, supporting supplier and partner evaluations, contributing to responsible sourcing and packaging initiatives, and helping strengthen transparency, traceability, and environmental performance across the business.
This role also includes monitoring relevant regulatory and market developments, supporting internal sustainability projects, and contributing to the company’s long-term ESG and compliance positioning across international markets. The ideal candidate combines regulatory awareness with practical implementation capability and a strong understanding of cross-border supply chain environments
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field
7+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, or responsible sourcing, ideally within cosmetics, FMCG, packaging, or supply chain-driven industries
Strong knowledge of environmental and sustainability compliance frameworks relevant to the EMEA region
Experience with supplier compliance, sustainability reporting, documentation, and audit support
Familiarity with ESG standards, packaging sustainability, traceability, and responsible sourcing practices
Strong analytical and cross-functional coordination skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment
Professional English is mandatory; additional European languages are an advantage
