About the Role
As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will support Liquid-Or’s Quality Management function by ensuring that cosmetic products and related documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements in Switzerland, the European Union, and selected international markets. Based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, you will play a key role in strengthening compliance, product quality assurance, and market readiness across the business.
This position is embedded within the Quality Management structure and works closely with quality, product development, operations, and commercial teams. Your responsibilities will include reviewing formulations and ingredient declarations, assessing packaging and labeling compliance, preparing and maintaining regulatory documentation, and supporting product registration and submission processes.
You will also contribute to internal quality and compliance standards by monitoring regulatory developments, interpreting applicable frameworks such as EC 1223/2009, and helping maintain robust documentation and review processes. Experience with FDA and ASEAN submissions will be considered a strong advantage, particularly in the context of international market expansion and cross-market compliance support.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics Science, or a related field, or a legal background with relevant regulatory experience
Native German and professional English are mandatory; French is a plus
In-depth knowledge of EU and Swiss cosmetics regulations, especially EC 1223/2009
Experience in regulatory documentation, compliance review, labeling, and product registration processes
Familiarity with ingredient compliance, product safety documentation, and quality-related regulatory standards
Experience with FDA and/or ASEAN cosmetic submissions is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work closely with quality, operations, and product-related teams
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skill
